Hi, I'm Don from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and the next time you need a part for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the wiper pulse board on this 1996 Chevy Tahoe. It's the same part and process on the Tahoe from 1995 to 2000. The items you'll need for this include a new wiper pulse board from 1AAuto.com, a T20 Torx bit, and a ratchet.
Now just pull out this blue clip and then lift up on the tab on the harness and pull it free. Then remove these three T20 Torx bolts. Now pull that cover free, and then grab on to the harness connector and just pull it out.
On the left is the old wiper pulse board; on the right is the new one from 1A Auto. You can see they're identical, and they're going to fit exactly the same.
Now slide this pulse board back into the motor and then replace that cover. Then replace those three T20 screws. We'll just fast-forward as Don replaces and tightens up those three screws. Reconnect your harness and push that blue clip back into place. You're all set.
