Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we show you how to replace the front master power window switch on this 2006 Nissan Sentra. It's a pretty easy procedure. You'll just need a Phillips screwdriver.
You just take the panel and lift up. You have to kind of get your fingers underneath and underneath back in here and lift up firmly. Okay, it comes right out. Then this lift up firmly as well. Then right back here is a little tab on your harness, push that in and disconnect the switch harness.
Now you just need a Philips screwdriver, and there are three screws that hold the switch to the trim panel. Remove the three screws and the switch comes right out.
To reinstall, change the switch right down in. A lot of the times what happens with these is you accidently leave your door open and it rains. Rain falls down and comes right into the switch and shorts it out.
When you reinstall these screws, just be careful not to tighten them up too tight because you could strip the plastic threads in the turn keys.
Reconnect your power window switch. Put the front down in first, then put the back into place. Put this right into place and press down.

In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the driver's side master window switch pack on this 2005 Volkswagen Jetta. It's the same part and similar process on these Jettas from 2005-2010. The items you'll need for this is a new power window switch pack form 1AAuto.com and a flat blade screwdriver.
As you can see, on the switch on our car, the insides are all broken. It's pretty easy; use a plastic tool or a screwdriver. Just put it under this plastic panel here and lift up firmly. It lifts out. There's a blue tab here. Pull down on the tab. It's a little easier to do if you use a flat blade screwdriver to just pry up on that blue clip and then the harness will pull free. This switch is held in by 3 tabs on each side. I'm going to push to the side and pry the other tabs to release them. I release one side, and then I'm just going to keep pulling up on the switch and pry on the other side.
I just don't want to pry too much, because you don't want to break this bezel. The switch comes out. On the left is the old power window switch pack; next to it are the two power window switch packs we offer at 1A auto.com. We have both the regular and one with chrome tips, and they'll fit exactly the same. Take your new power window switch pack and just push it into place, reconnect the harness and then push the switch panel back down into place until it clicks in.

Hi, I’m Mike from 1A Auto. We’ve been selling auto parts for over 30 years!
In this video, we are going to show you how to remove and replace a driver's side window switch in a 2010 Volkswagen GTI. We're going to pull this window switch out. We're going to pull this trim cover. We're going to use these tools, these special trim tools. You can buy these at 1aauto.com.
Fish right in here. This is really not easy to do. Use two. Get in here. Push it in, and there's these clips on the side here, you need to release them. Being careful not to break anything. And it'll make a noise like that when it releases. Go up near the top, here, and then there's another one. There's one more down in the back, here. See these four clips? Turn the back side, and we're going to go over to our switch, disconnect the connector, and push this little tab. Pull out. Disconnect the mirror switch. You're going to push down on the connector, on the lock. Going to use a flat-blade screwdriver to pop this out. Little tabs in here, just pry it back a little bit. Over on this side. Going to use two. Keep one on this side. Help us unlock it. Apply a little bit of pressure from the front, there we go. Came right out.
This is our old window switch, this is our new window switch from 1aauto.com. As you can see, the connectors are the same, the actual switch itself looks slightly different, but it will be the same purpose, and you can get yours at 1aauto.com and you'll be ready to rock and roll.
All right, we're going to install the window switch into our trim piece. Just going to slide it in. Use a little bit of force, lock it in, make sure all the locks are in, and it's good. Now we're going to reinstall our trim piece into our door panel. Going to install the mirror switch connector, push it in until it locks in, and install our window switch connector, line up the connector and push in until it locks. I'm going to slide, there's a gap right here that you have to line up with the door panel, then you're going to push it straight down. All right, we're going to test our window switch. And it works. It works in automatic. And automatic down, no programming required.
