Works Great
Bought this to fix a "no heat in rear" issue with my suburban. Swapped it and definitely works great now. 1A has failed to disappoint yet. They're adorable, fast shipping and best of all actually have quality parts.

Fix the problem
Had to call 1AAuto to make sure the part was correct for our 2004 suburban. After telling him we kept getting different suggestion on the actuator we need and one saying just ask a mechanic, the rep we spoke to at 1AAuto took his time asking questions about our vehicle and suggested this particular actuator. It was delivered on the day promised. We installed it and have had no problems with our AC blowing hot air since.

2006 Yukon Denali Blend Door Actuator
Bought a blend door actuator for my 06 Yukon Denali. I was having hot air only on the drivers side intermittently and as time went on it was always hot on the drivers side. 1A Auto is great cause they have a lot of parts, fairly quick shipping, and a tutorial on YouTube for the removal/installation. Great company!!!

Great replacement part
Fits well and does what it should. Only concern is that the socket is made of plastic and the OEM being metal. Could wear out in the future but you can't beat the price for the quality of the part.

A real lifesaver!
The temperature control in my Suburban stopped working which was extremely uncomfortable because it was at max Heat! The actuator was not working and I found an "exact" replacement through 1A Auto. the replacement actuator was installed and my temperature stays exactly where it is set just like when it was new.

this was an easy install, needed short and long 9MM socket and a long 9/32 socket, the whole process took less than an hour for a guy who does not work on cars.

Ordered it then installed it followed the instructions to relearn the hvac system and driver side stays cold checked my fuses and no luck

Temperature blend door actuator

I replaced the original actuator. After reconnecting battery, it cycled between the limits as expected for calibration and never moved again. Stuck on cold. 1A Auto kindly replaced the part free of charge and same thing happened. I found this on Sparkys.com and wonder if it could be the issue. "Something else you need to know. If you buy a new actuator make sure the part numbers match. At the time of this writing the aftermarket (non dealer) application books are incorrect. You have to buy an actuator for the passenger side to get the correct actuator for the drivers side. Crazy but true. I cannot think of the number of actuators I have changed that have already been replaced by others. If you install the wrong actuator, it will rotate to a full stop and never move again." Please let me know if this is still a possible issue for that part.I put 3 stars because I don't know if it is the parts fault or mine .

this piece did not work, in fact, it worked completely backward from the factory's original part. Get AC Delco. Don't mess with this junk. They sent me two of them both of which did not work. Finally they refunded my money and told me to keep the items.

I have a 2001 chevy tahoe the heat blend door had to be replaced.  I remove the actuator full assembly with the plate attached. How do I aline it in the correct position when installing?

Derrick, I used this particular actuator for the blend door to the right of the center console, after removing the plastic cover under the glovebox. There is a notched knob that extends down and there is one only one way that it will fit into the rotating piece on the actuator; just fit to the knob and rotate the unit to fit the attachment points/screws. Hope this helps!

The only difference between the three is the brand name. The fit, function, and appearance will match what is removed from your vehicle as long as the OE part numbers are matched.

There are actually a couple of temperature blend door actuators on your vehicle. They are typically mounted toward the center of the dash. Your local dealer would be able to identify which actuator is which. Thanks!
