this valve controls the cam timing via oil to and from cam phasers on the ford 5.4l triton. I have had zero trouble with these. only drawback when compared to oem is that the screw is not included. reuse old screw and squeeze tab a bit to hold screw captive.
Hello, Yes this comes exactly as pictured.
Gasket(s) are not required; " O " - rings are what's used for this application. Make certain they're present, put a bit of oil ( any type ) on them, then install The critical point is to ensure the correct connector goes to it as the two connectors are similar and can be installed incorrectly.

Took vehicle to a know shop in town and told me they were not good quality and werent detecting oil pressure. Ended up buying a pair of new ones from other store and installed them
Updated? I think so, but more important, you have to transfer the screw to the new part. Please be careful....if you loose that screw inside the valve cover, you'll be pulling the valve cover off. I would mark the screw with some marking paint so you can see it incase it falls in the valve cover. Better buy an extendable magnet so you can fish is out....just as a precaution.

Yes this will work for the 5.4L models listed to fit.
Yes they do ! Be careful not to drop them down into the engine ! They aren't locked into the solenoid hold bracket like the originals !
These are not listed to fit any 2004 models with the 4.6L engine
