Pro Tip: Replace Handles in pairs or sets. Fading from the sun or age can make your Vehicle Handles and Bezels appear a hue difference next to new Handles.

Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace an inside door handle. We show you the driver's front; the passenger side front is a similar procedure. The only tool you'll need is a Phillips screwdriver.
There are two screws right down in here. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove these. Pull this up and turn it over, take the screws out. These disconnect just by pressing on the little tabs and pulling out. Disconnect the gear switch as well. There's a screw you want to remove right in there. Remove that screw and this bezel comes off, and then you can just kind of pull around the door panel and give it a good, firm, quick pull. Remove this up here by pulling out and then up. Then the door panel comes right off there. There is a little connector here for your speaker. Just press in on the tab.
The inside door handle slides back and comes out. Right under here what you just do is pull your cables out. This one, you have to pull this one out first. Pull out and then the cable comes out, and then, for this one, pull around and the cable comes out.
The new handle from 1A Auto is going to go in there exactly the same. Pull this cable out, put it down in, start turning this cable, and force it right in. Then pull the cables around, slide them in, then latch them. Slide the handle back in and forward.
Okay, before you put your door panel back on, a couple of my clips didn't come with the panel so I just pull them off with needle nose pliers. They just slide right into the panel. Okay, put your panel back on, hook in your speaker. Okay, hang the panel up, up here. Pull the harnesses through. Take a peek back here and make sure your clips or your pins will go right into the holes.
Okay, this, you have to pull out on the panel a little bit, put it in place. Put this in place. Push it in. Phillips screw in nice and firm. Plug your mirror switch back in. There are two connections for the window switch. We'll just fast-forward here as we put those two Phillips screws back in. Tighten them up nice and firm and you're all set.

Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video we're going to show you how to replace a rear inside door handle on this Chevy Colorado. It's a pretty easy procedure. We show you the driver side. The passenger side's the same. The only tool you'll need is a Phillips screwdriver.
First, there's two Phillips screws down there, remove those, and you'll also remove a Phillips screw right in there. We'll fast-forward here as I remove those three screws. Okay, once you pull this up there's a little button right here, just disconnect that harness. Start down here and pull firmly around and the panel comes off, up, and out.
If you need to switch your inside door handle. Slide it back. It comes out. For both of these, you have to unclip the cable first, and then turn and pull them right out. Unclip this cable. You have to move your lock back, twist that cable, pull it up and out, and your cable comes off.
The new handle from 1A Auto goes in the same way. Take the cable, and put it down in. Then you can let it twist a little bit. For this cable, do the same thing. Put it in, and then it just twists to hold itself in place. Get them in the groove in the housing, and snap them in. Then put the handle in the door and slide it forward.
With the door panel, make sure it's up on the windowsill here against the window. Make sure our wire's through. Kind of peek back in, and you see the clips go in. Okay, right around. We can plug our switch back in. Clip the bezel right back down and on. Put this one right back in place. We'll fast-forward here again as we tighten up those screws; like to tighten them up nice and firm. You don't want to make them too tight, you could break some of the plastic, but you want them nice and firm so that your door feels nice and solid when you open and close it.
