Brought to you by 1AAuto.com, your source for quality replacements parts, and the best service on the Internet. In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the four-wheel drive dash switch on this 2000 Chevy Blazer, same as most of this era Blazer. The only tool you'll need is a flat blade screwdriver.
To remove this four-wheel drive switch; it's pretty easy. Just use a regular screwdriver, and carefully work it in to the top here. Be careful not to scratch your dash at all. If you push down a little bit, the switch pops out. There are two connections; the blue connector, work your screwdriver in, pull up and out. Then this white one; put your screwdriver right in there, and pull it out. Here on the left is the original switch. On the right is the new switch from 1A Auto. You can see it's all the same. It's going to plug in the same. What can happen on these switches is, when you press a button, you should see the light flash and then it goes solid. The light goes solid when the transfer case engages. What can happen is, these lights can go out and then you don't know what mode you're in. To re-install you can see also that the switch can go bad after time, too. Just plug everything back in, and you're all set.

Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the four-wheel drive switch on the 2003 GMC Envoy XL. It's the same part and similar process on the regular Envoy's from 2002 to 2009. The items you'll need for this include a new four-wheel drive switch from 1AAuto.com and a flat blade screwdriver.
Using a flat blade screwdriver, just carefully pry out the top of this panel. Then reach back behind it and pry out. Then just push the tabs on either side of your four-wheel drive switch and push it through. It just slides out. Then push the tab on the harness and disconnect it.
You can see the switch from 1AAuto is very similar. It will work the same, and fit the same as the original.
Reconnect the harness, and push your new switch back into place. Then just line up the lower clips. Push the vents down and underneath. Then line up the pins and just push them back into place. Then just put your vehicle into accessory and test out the switch. You can see it works. You're all set.

Good price and function but the detent to center it in the dash hole is kind of loose so it spins a little in the dash when you turn the knob.
