Hi, I'm Don from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and the next time you need a part for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to service the bulbs, as well as replace the entire fog light assembly on this 2004 Jeep Liberty. We show you on the passenger side, but the driver side is a similar procedure. The only tools you'll need for this include a flat blade screwdriver and T20 Torx bit.
On the back of your fog light, there's a door right here. You just want to pry that open. You may notice that our wheel has been removed. That's not necessary, and you don't have to do that. We just did that for the video.
Just pull up the tab on the harness and push the harness down. You just twist the socket counter clockwise and pull it out. Now you can replace your bulb. Push the socket into place, twist it clockwise to lock it, and then reconnect the harness.
If you're looking to replace the entire assembly, just disconnect that harness, and then remove these three T20 Torx bolts. We'll just fast-forward as Don does that. Once those are removed, your fog light will pull right out.
Take your new fog light and push it back into place. Then, once you have it lined up, replace those 3, T20 torques bolts. Reconnect the harness, and then just close that door. You have to just bend it and fold those tabs back in. You're all set.
We hope this video helps you out. Brought to you by www.1AAuto.com, your source for quality replacement parts and the best service on the Internet. Please feel free to call us toll-free, 888-844-3393. We're the company that's here for you on the Internet and in person.

I have a 2002 Jeep Liberty and people are always asking me what year it is. I have always garaged it but I also replace or repair things as soon as they go bad. One fog light went out so I replaced the pair. I also replaced the headlights because they started to get slightly milky. In my opinion, that makes any vehicle look terrible. The body is clean and well kept but the headlights are so milky you wonder how they can see anything at night. These are inexpensive and easy replacements that look great! At 21 years old my Liberty really stands out from the pack...
