Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we show you how to change the front grille on this 1996 Toyota Camry, same as a '95 or '96 Camry. It is a pretty easy operation. The only tool you'll need is a 10 millimeter socket with a ratchet or a 10 millimeter wrench will work as well.
Remove your grill. There's two 10 millimeter bolts: one there and one on the other side. Fast forward here a little bit. I use a 10 millimeter socket with a ratchet so you could also use just a regular 10 millimeter wrench and remove those bolts. Once you remove those bolts, the grille just pulls right down.
If you're putting a new grille on, you'll want to change over your Toyota emblem and these are plastic riveted, so they basically just kind of melted plastic tabs, so you can either break this part on your old grille or file these off. Now, obviously my original grille is fine so I'm not going to do that, but what you would want to do is file them off so you can remove the emblem and then basically just superglue it on to your new grille.
We got the grille. Just make sure the tab is on the bottom and line up these clips here. Put it back together. When you tighten these up, you want to tighten up nice and firm, but you don't need to over-tighten them.
