Works good but installation problems
Once I got the regulator installed it worked fine. However, I had a couple of installation problems that cost one star. First, the regulator is attached to the metal base plate by four bolts and nuts. Of these three were loose and the fourth was missing the nut. Fortunately I was able to kluge a solultion (since the bolts are metric it was not quite as simple as it might have been). And second I had difficulty getting the plastic part installed (I don't know what it is called or what it does). I couln't align the tabs with the holes in the base plate and eventually smashed them while trying. I was finally able to make it work by screwing the part to the base plate using drywall anchors. It is working so far but time will tell.

Will this work with a 2005 VW Beetle convertible?
This will not fit on a convertible model. We do not have a window regulator for the front passenger door for your 2005 Beetle convertible at this time.
