To extend the life of your steering and suspension components, TRQ recommends replacing components in pairs, sets, or kits. Replacing struts used to require specialized tools to compress, remove, and transfer the old spring and mount. Our Pre-assembled, complete strut & spring assemblies come with all new parts and make the job much quicker and easier for the do-it-yourself mechanic.

Challenging but all the steps are there.
It went pretty much as the video showed it would. Couple of points, I noticed there is a Left and Right version and the small linkage could no longer be held by a 40 Torx bit as they were too rusted out, I cut off the rubber casket and held it with plyers to take off the nut. Biggest issue was getting the end of the strut onto the peg. I used a rolling car Jack and pushed it with my feet and then used the bolt to guide the strut onto the peg. This part took the longest as the spring got hung up on the frame even with the strap. All in all, even with the challenges the video for my car model and a link to buy the part I need is an outstanding concept. I watched the video twice and thought "yes I can do it" and then bought it. I have a 2004 Volvo XC70 with over 300k miles. Thank you.

Great strut assemblies but poor end links
The strut assemblies fit perfectly on my 2001 V70 XC. The swaybar end links are not the same as the ones shown in the picture and due to poor design are nearly impossible to properly tighten unless you have a very skinny 18 mm wrench. I ended up modifying a spare one I had in my shop. That was not fun!
