Much better quality than the cheap versions
I like that this part is much more higher quality compared to the cheap ones you find on other websites. the price is well worth it. I had gone through two turn signal switches that were low build quality because the hazard light button kept breaking on me whenever i would go to test and see if it was working. definitely a headache for sure. This new turn signal works exactly how it should, and puts those low quality ones to shame.

Easier to install than i thought. My 88 c1500 had a thin plastic channel (loom) in the column that got inthe way of installation so do yourself a favor and cut it out of the way first,,, just be careful not to damage the wiper/washer wiring harness that is inside the loom. 10 minutes of yanking it out with needle nose pliers and the harness for the new switch passed right through column without a problem. Today is day 1 of installation and everything is working just fine. Thanks A1 !!!

Jeep YJ Turn Signal Switch Replacement
Removal and install went fairly well. Had to get a Steering Wheel Removal Kit (HF) that included a lock plate tool. The steering wheel was straight forward with the puller. The lock plate is held on with a ring clip hence the special too. After unscrewing the switch (dont forget to remove the flasher knob) I opted to cut the wires and pull them out the bottom. Things are easier if you remove the panel at the bottom of the steering wheel. I pushed the connector and wiring down into the steering column. The lower panel will cover the wiring. Put every thing back the way it came apart. Everything has worked well since.
