I put this part on my 68 firebird. Worked great! No problems and also comes with a adapter harness. I stopped blowing my brake light fuse. Been on the car for a week and I'm happy with it.
I don't know about how it would work out with a 68 Riviera. But if it hooks up like my 1967 rs convertable camaro you will be very happy with the end result. Have a good day and good luck with your project.
