So far so good. Only have around 250 miles on the equipment but they are much much better than the dead shocks and struts that were on the vehicle. Install was quick and easy. Took me about 90 minutes to complete by myself mostly because the upper bolt for the rear shocks is a pain to reach
I feel very comfortable after replacing the front struts and rear shock absorbers-no more rough ride.
Great fit. Rides great. Installation note: Take care to not let the hub/brake assembly rotate outward after removing the front strut. It will pull the transaxle out of the transmission. If that happens, put the vehicle in neutral and rotate the transaxle by hand until the splines line up. There is a palpable detent. After that, it will take a fair amount of force to seat the transaxle back into the transmission. There is an o-ring on the transaxle that has to move past its sealing point. I put both hand on the hub/brake assembly and slammed it in there. Vehicle rode great afterward.

With over 100K miles on my RAV4 it was time for new shocks and struts. This was confirmed by the tire shop when I had four new tires installed. Of course they wanted over a grand to do the job. I said no and I would think about it. Last year I replaced a set of wheel bearings after watching a 1A Auto video and saved a bundle, even after buying a few specialty tools! Fortunately, 1A Auto had two videos, one for shocks and one for struts installation on my vehicle. These were very informative and as for the wheel bearings, provided me with the confidence to do the job myself. The shock and strut combo set arrived one day after I ordered it. I then started the procedure as prescribed by the videos. Everything went well until I got to the point of removing the sway bars from the struts. I simply could not remove the nuts. The strut video made it look way too easy. Perhaps my pneumatic impact wrench wasn't powerful enough, but the sway bar nuts had become way too rusty to remove, e
