I bought these as I was rebuilding front struts and of course needed them, but didnt end up needed them as I bought whole assembled struts but test fitting they lined up perfect
I bought these to replace my old originals. They seemed to be good quality the bearings are sealed and the fit was perfect. I did have some foam tape that I put on the mounts just like the originals.
Im very impress with the quality..I would recommend this product.

Thank you for your inquiry! You do not necessarily have to change them out when changing the strut cartridges, but since it is all taken apart is is a good idea to do so!
