Slightly shorter than OEM but the fit was great and the slight length difference shouldn't matter with the u-joint
My u-joint was seizing so I needed a new shaft. I ordered one and took mine apart the night before it was due to arrive. I had to use an air hammer to drive my original shaft up and off the steering box input shaft. The new one came in the next morning and I thought it would be quick; 4 hours later I still didnt have the part in. I couldnt get the pinch bolt in the lower coupling. I repeatedly cleaned the input shaft and groove, thinking rust was holding it up. I even set up a dremal with brushes to clean it like new. I still couldnt get it in. Then the light bulb went off; I got my old shaft out of the trash and carefully compared it to the new one. The hole for the pinch bolt was 1/8 closer to center than my original! There was no way it was going to fit as it was hitting the shaft. I thought about drilling the hole bigger and using a through bolt, but decided to go the right way and get another one sent.
