Inner boot failure

Inner boot torn less than 4000 miles. Will look into warranty. Sucks for this to happen, time spent, manual labor, and money spent for parts and wheel alignment. This is a known issue for 4runner cv axles.
Perhaps 4runner cv axles can benefit having the harder plastic covers for the inside that like those that are on the outside. Toyota tundra cv axle do not have the soft inner boot and they last 150000 miles without rupturing. Perhaps 1A Auto can look into this. Maybe sell a harder plastic inner boot kit and also CV axle with the more rugged hard plastic boots.
