First off, unlike my previous calipers, which were remanufactured units, these calipers are indeed, brand new. The fact that they are new and not remanufactured, to me, provides for a more stringent and superior level of quality control. The calipers arrived well-packaged, and they appear every bit as well made as my previous rebuilt units, and the red powder coating is very nicely done. After installation, the calipers are functioning perfectly, with no leaks and no problems at all. My brake job included new slotted rotors, pads, and rubber lines as well, and my brakes are feeling darn good, so I'm confident the calipers are functioning as they should be.
