Direct swap, plug and play. hardest part for me during the swap was disconnecting the harness plug which is counterintuitive. Squeeze down on the square loop the catch is inside the female plug. No need to unplug Engine control, just swing out of the way.Take the time to remove debris from drain hole. Order the cabin filter because now's the time! Blows like crazy now. Used to have to bang on the bottom of dash to kick start it.
These should be the same distance apart as the original one you have in your vehicle as it is built to the same OE specifications.
