2002 Toyota 4Runner Rear with 16 in. Wheels Brake Shoe & Drum Kit TRQ BKA03902

This is a great kit for a great price, except for one major issue: the brake drums. Let me start with the positives. Overall, the components seem well made. The wheel cylinders worked great, the brake shoes fit properly, and performance felt solid. I did need to lightly grind some of the powder coating off the shoe slots so the self-adjuster would sit snug and flush. That wasn't a big deal, and I actually appreciate that the hardware is powder coated. Now for the downside. The brake drums I received were either out of round, out of balance, or both. At around 60 mph, I experienced significant vibration, and while braking around 20 mph, there was a strong rhythmic bumping that nearly shook the truck apart. To diagnose the issue, I reinstalled my original OEM drums while keeping everything else the same. The vibration and bumping disappeared completely. I also noticed that the OEM drums had balance weights on them, while the TRQ drums did not. Aside from the drums, I'm very satisfied
