2000 Toyota 4Runner with 15 Inch Wheels Front Ceramic Premium G-Coated Brake Pad & Rotor Kit TRQ Performance BKA12857

I had severe shaking when I bought my 4runner so I bought these and rear drums. Shaking continued. Had lower ball joint failure. Rebuilt front end suspension including control arm and sway bar bushings, links, upper and lower ball joints, tie rods, wheels, tires and aligned. Still had severe shaking. Replaced rotors with the cheapest closeout I could find and shaking is gone and drives like new. I can't completely discredit these rotors as I had a number of issues that could have contributed to warpage. The calipers are fine and were not replaced.

I heard that because the 15inch rotors on the 3rd gen 4runner are a bit under-powered, and rotors tend to wear out faster. So i decided to try slotted and drilled discs. I've liked these ones so far. The only thing I would say i do notice is that I can feel the difference between the ceramic (which is what these pads are) and the normal material. when braking at speeds below 10mph, I can feel the difference of the ceramic vs regular pads. Nothing bad, just an observation. Good product overall, and I am interested to see how they wear over time.
