Great products
I brought a head gasket set for around the same price other stores charge for one, also the set came with many extra pieces like cam gaskets and coolant seals. I would recommend to anyone.

Reasonably priced gasket set
I was looking for an economical alternative to the big name gasket guys and these fit the bill they were good quality ,maybe even better than the big guys gaskets,I installed these with new head bolts as required and have had absolutely no issues I would highly recommend these gaskets and would buy them again

Most complete set and good quality
1A Auto's kit is the most complete set of gaskets, seals, and o-rings I could find. I purchased the kit primarily because it included all timing cover seals but I wound up using everything but the head gaskets (went with Fel-Pro). All the seals were high quality. I recommend this gasket set from 1A.

Good set for 2004 forester 2.5 XS.
This kit worked very well on my 2004 2.5XS Forester. The parts are not labeled. Some are obvious for where they go, but some took some investigation to figure out.

Great set for the money
The rubber gaskets are soft and flexible, everything fits good, I think I am missing a gasket but whatever.

Not bad overall but could use some improvement
If this kit came with a parts list, that would be very helpful.

The throttle body gasket didn’t match the original design and did not function properly. One of the rubber timing cover seals, the smaller of the two, did not match the original molding and didn’t really work. Possibly is meant for a different variation of my vehicle.

Only just installed the kit recently so I can’t speak to the longevity of the seals and gaskets.

Good value for package
I purchased this gasket set primarily for the miscellaneous timing cover rubber liners that go between the plastic timing covers. Individually, they add up real quick at the dealership. This product is a super great value when it comes to those components.

I've done 2 headgasket jobs so far and it's always a big PITA. I wouldn't trust the actual headgaskets themselves in the kit but everything seems fine since they would be relatively straightforward to swap out if they went bad prematurely.

Not the correct parts for a 09 Subaru 2.5L naturally aspirated!
The head gaskets were correct, but the spark plug tube seals were wrong and it came with valve cover grommets which is not required. It gave me insecurities that the head gaskets are correct.

The gasket kit was sent to me with the intention it would be an ej253 Subaru 2009 forester instead was sent a looked like turbo gasket kit water pump gasket didn’t match and o rings didn’t match. Other than that the head gasket matched. I would rank 3 star but with all the time and hassle I went through wouldn’t be worth it.

Is the head gasket factory or the three layer steel gasket?

The materials list gasket material: graphite and steel which mean these are the bad head gaskets. (I’m assuming) Equivalent to the factory ones where the graphite layer separates causing them to fail.
MLS head gaskets are what’s optimal. Multi-layered steel.

The head gaskets will not fit. The H6 is a 6 cylinder engine. This kit is for a 4 cylinder engine.
