Yes, I bought this, and I believe it had ball joints. If memory serves, those joints are still in my garage. I bought ball joints to replace those that came with the kit, at another vendor, because the ones in the kit came with fiber lock nuts rather than castle nuts with cotter pins.
While I had no immediate need to take the nuts off, my experience with fiber lock nuts on ball joints is that if you need to remove the nut, the stud can (usually does) spin. Then, you're stuck using vise grips or another option to restrain the stud. The ball joints at "other vendor" cost about what this whole kit cost, but peace of mind for future repairs is 'priceless.'
