Very effective, I was getting 22mpg and had a check engine light for a misfire , this set of coils fixed it, plus now I get 26mpg without even trying. I'm handy , but still recommend watching the install video
Quick and easy install. I love the red color. If you're not sure what to do TRQ has helpful videos. I received my order quickly. I will be shopping 1A auto again.
The coils worked as advertised. I did appreciate the spark plug boots being pre-lubricated with dielectric grease. It saved me a step that I always do myself. I did have to fabricate a hook tool to reach the base of the original spark plug boots. After 120K miles the boots were welded to the plugs. I also broke a factory connector to the right rear coil. I purchased a new connector with pigtails that I soldered into place and used adhesive backed heat shrink tubing to protect the staggered connections. This was followed by wrapping in quality electrical tape and split tube wire shield. Everything worked great after reassembly.

Perfect replacement easy to install
My 2015 Subaru 2.5liter Outback (135k) would surge and stumble occasionally when down shifting and/or driving slow in town light to light. Original coils tested fine but these new TRQ coils solved the problem! No more symptoms and it even sounds better during cold start. A must do if you have a 125k plus mile Subaru.
Replacement was a sinch, plus corrected my rough idle problem. They also have a wider range of parameters for tunning.
