2002 Subaru Outback LLBean, other than the axle sealed in the old assembly, simple remove and replace. Fitment was good, no issues so far
All this time I was blaming road noise on my tires. Replacing these bearing made the truck quiet again. Installation was easier than you would expect on a 3/4 tonne truck.Just four bolts from the back side keep it on and no pulleys, slide hammers, or torches were required. I had both sides changed out in my driveway wit simple tools within two hours and that included a whole bunch of "since I'm here" stuff.

It fit my 2002 Outback LLBean. Going by Gen 2 being from 2000-2004 it should fit your 2003 but cant say for sure. You could try contacting customer service and see if they can verify figment to be sure
