I have a 1969 El Camino and the speedo it calls for screws on at the trans and the instrument gauge. How ever mine was different it screws on the trans and pushes on at the gauge.It was over 90 days before I went to install and found out it was the wrong one. The good peeps at 1A Auto took back the wrong one and sent me the right one! They helped me even though it was past the return date. Awesome customer service!!
Yes, one end has a female and the other end is a male. The female end screws onto the transmission and the male pushes into the dash hope that helps!
