Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the power window switch on the rear door of this 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500. It's pretty simple procedure. The only tool that you're going to need is a flat blade screwdriver.
We're using a pry tool or a flat blade screwdriver. Just pry up the power window switch. Then, the harness is just a tab. Press it in and pull the harness free. Now, using a flat blade screwdriver, you want to pry the two clips on either side of the switch so you can separate it from this panel.
Now, you want to take your new one and push it into place and reconnect the harness and push the switch back down into the door. You're all set.

If you have good fingernails, sometimes you can just pull up and off on that. You could also use a trim tool available at 1AAuto.com. Put underneath, and pull straight up. Make sure you pull up on the front. Somebody was not that careful on this one, and you can see they actually broke off the tab on the trim.
Then you'll want to disconnect your power window switch, just a little tab here. Pull and disconnect, and remove your old switch. The plastic trim tool is the best tool. Pry out one side, press with your thumb down, and push and release the clamps, and it comes out.
The replacement switch from 1A Auto goes right in, clicks in place.
Reconnect the switch. Feed the harness down in. Make sure you put this in correctly.
Thanks for watching. Visit us at 1AAuto.com for quality auto parts, fast and free shipping, and the best customer service in the industry.
