This part will fit the 1998 Chevy S10 Pickup 2.2L if your OE part has the 3 pin connector.
The oil pressure is located directly above the oil filter and next to the starter motor on the lower side of the engine block. This part is correct for a 1990-1998 Chevy C1500 V6 4.3L with 3 Pin Connector
could be multiple reasons. my gauge is doing the same i have replace alot of parts including this sensor but even that hasnt helped. im thinking my issue is the oil pump. if after trying to replace the sender doesn't help you are in the same boat as me. to broad of a question to give a direct answer
