All Delphi products I have ever used out perform and out last all other brands .
I had made the mistake of replacing the old DELFI MAF Air Flow Sensor on my 05 Tahoe once with a $40.00 China made MAF sensor just as a tune up. The existing DELPHI MAF sensor that was on my truck had been on there for over 5 years. I thought for sure it was time to replace it. My truck's engine ran the same as it as it did before I changed the MAF sensor after putting the new off brand one on it that I got from the parts store.
About 6 months down the road, my truck's gas mileage, eratic idle, reduced horse power, multiple cylinder miss fires, bogging ect..ect.. kept getting worse and worse. After pulling my hair with diagnosing the problem; I decided to pull the 6 months old off brand MAFF air Flow Sensor off and put the old DELFI sensor back on it.
Instantly I was blowed away. The old DELPHI MAF sensor cured all the engine problem I was having. My engine began running like it should of been all along.
Lesson learned; any time I need replace any engine electronics for now on; I will only replace them with DELPHI products.
And do not listen to the guy behind the register at the parts store when he tells you "this brand is about $20.00-$30.00 cheaper and it'll perform as well as the name brand, and all your paying for is the brand's name of the slightly more expensive one"... You'll save yourself a lot of money and headache down the road by getting the DELPHI brand first!!!
