Now, at first glance, this part may look nearly identical to a comparable, generic mirror that we brought to show you, but upon further inspection, the difference is clear between the fit and finish, the quality of the parts, and the attention to detail that really makes this mirror from Trail Ridge Truck Accessories a quality part that lasts.
The generic mirror already has a large scratch going across the face of the mirror, and there's pitting around the edges where the reflective material is already starting to fail. This mirror from Trail Ridge uses a very high-quality reflective material, as well as being a defrosting upper and panoramic mirror, where this one only has a defrosting upper mirror.
The Trail Ridge mirror has a much finer, more uniform finish. Another great benefit to these mirrors is the caps are interchangeable, so you have all this selection, on top of being a quality fit and finish on the largest section of your mirror, which is what the majority of people looking at your truck are going to see.
There’s nice clean metal on the hinge for this mirror. The generic part is already rusting out on the hinge. It's brand new. It's never been exposed to the elements. It's rusting out already.
We have the same color sockets on the generic mirror. The ends have waterproofing in them. Somebody did this very quickly. They also have steel contacts on them. On the Trail Ridge Truck mirrors, the sockets are color coded. We know which one goes where. We have a brass contact that's not going to corrode, and it's going to conduct electricity much more smoothly.
The wiring on the Trail Ridge mirror uses the OEM color coding, so all of these colors and pin-outs are going to match up for the factory wiring colors, as well as the pin locations. This generic mirror used whatever color wiring they had around. The wires in the Trail Ridge mirror are also a much heavier gauge. It also comes with an adapter harness for the earlier model trucks, that weren't as feature packed as the newer ones, which while still using the same bolt-on application, will have a different wire harness connector.
The Trail Ridge truck mirror still has that cool tinted look without being so dark that you're not going to be able to see your turn signals and side markers. The motor on the generic mirror is very loose. I can move this very easily by hand. The Trail Ridge truck mirror has nice smooth movement. It actually takes a little bit of force. These are zero-clearance motors, which means they're a lot more accurate. If you're using your mirror switch and you adjust it, when you let off, that's where it's staying.
We have a higher quality steel here. The ends are nice and secure, where you can see these are all bent up and banged up already.

Nicknamed elephant ears. They make towing my camper a lot safer. Really like that they are heated and remote controlled like my OEM mirrors were.
I was very impressed for the following reasons: When I ordered the mirrors your customer service was excellent, so a good start, Shipping was on time, They were packaged very well and Everything about the mirrors look great and they look great on the truck. I'm glad I did the upgrade.
I ordered the version with both heat and electric adjustment for my 2020 Frontier Pro-4X. I'm not much of a mechanical genius, but I got the first mirror installed in about an hour, and the second in about 15 minutes. I'm using the mirrors to pull a sailboat and an Airstream, and the product exceeds my expectations.

Convex (lower) mirror too difficult to adjust, broke it while attempting to adjust. No warranty because I had to change the connectors to install.
At this point, what could be said? Great product. Superior service and faaasssttt.
A key observation is the electrical connector is dependent on matching the oem features. Once I ordered the correct mirror, installation was a breeze. Mirrors are great for trailering, less so for day-to-day, but OK.
I have it a 4 star because it was everything I was looking for and had fast easy check out. Shipping was and on time. It was not a 5 star because the connection did not fit my stock so I needed to cut them and swap them to have them motorized.

Unfortunately, we do not carry the chrome mirror caps separately for this vehicle.
They do fit the 2020 Frontier. I just put them on. Non heated plug and play. The optics are so bad I would not recommend them.
Thank you for your inquiry. Mirrors should be replaced in an "option for option" fashion. If your mirrors do not have the same options that are listed in our listing, there is a possibility that this mirror may not function properly. The set of mirrors you will need with only power, no heat, will be part number TRMRP00050 Please let us know if you have any other questions.
We cannot guarantee these will work as mirrors are meant to be replaced for each option the vehicle is equip for. Since you do not have heat on your mirrors now, these will not work properly.

The mirrors come with the chrome covers not snapped all the way in. In the name of all that is holy do not push them in. Get your fingernails under the edge, pull firmly and the chrome will pop off, then snap the black cover on. If you push the chrome cover all the way in, then you are hosed. It is nearly impossible to get off. I messed up and snapped one of them in, and I had to jam a long skinny screwdriver in between the mirror and housing and break the tabs off from the inside. The chrome cover was destroyed but luckily I didn't damage the mirror.
