I brought these parts for my 97 Pathfinder to replace my worn out parts. Ended up putting a lift on my truck and these are still taking the abuse. Been running them with a lift for about a year now. Great deal and quality.
The bottom holes of the front struts, where it attaches to the knuckle, is misaligned/not drilled out properly. Needed to to drill out the holes slightly bigger to get the bolts through. Was also missing hardware bolts for upper strut mount. Did improve ride once installed.
The struts required grinding to fit correctly against the knuckle. Took about 15 minutes with a dremmel. Once on, they definitely improved the ride quality.
This kit will only be correct for your vehicle if your production date falls before 11/30/98, if the products date falls after 11/30/98 they will not be correct
