Believe me when I say 1A auto serve the best parts because the motor mounts fits Mercedes Benz slk 350 absolutely perfect and u cant even detect a vibration in engine the parts are so awesome and I will continue to highly recommend 1A auto to everyone because the parts that 1A auto provide are the best parts and the sales representatives provide excellent services
If you are experiencing vibrations when selecting drive or reverse it just may be your motor/ transmission mounts. Mercedes uses hydraulic dampened motor mounts to isolate engine vibrations. Transmission mount is rubber only. The engine mounts may visually look fine, but still be worn. New mounts raised the engine nearly an inch, something that is hard to decerne when viewing. In any case changed transmission mount and vibration was still apparent. Changed engine mounts and vibration was gone. At 134 thousand miles original MB mounts did not hold up to the task (no pun intended). Of course make sure your vehicle is tuned up properly too.
The motor mounts Were A Perfect Replacement fit. I do recommend a car lift because of the removal of the exhaust off the manifold and a swivel 12 mm 3/8 Drive you'll have to remove them to access the motor mounts also recommend a lift Jack support the motor this way you have access to replace the motor mounts. also a swivel ratchet wrench for the top mount is recommended. The car ran like new.
