2002 Jeep Liberty V6 3.7L with Heavy Duty Cooling Engine Cooling Fan Assembly TRQ RFA83253

Instantly pleased with the Jeep Liberty Radiator Cooling Fan Assembly TRQ RFA83253 ordered from 1A Auto Parts. Shipping was quick and the fan was delivered within a few days. Definitely a doable DIY project as I installed the fan while parked in my garage having removed the existing Fan Shroud a few days before the new fan was delivered. Product installed on a 2003 Jeep Liberty Sport w/3.7L V6 engine, 4WD Automatic equipped with the beloved 11 Blade Clutch Cooling Fan AS WELL AS the electric Radiator Cooling Fan I replaced. TRQ RFA83253 is an exact fit although some of the older reviews stated that the fan harness/wires seemed shorter than OEM or too short in general. It is my observation that the fan is shipped with the harness zip tied to the fan assembly. After snipping the original zip tie and extending the harness the full length of the two wires, the harness easily reached through the existing slot in the Fan Shroud just as the OEM fan assembly it replaced. It is a fan and it works. The wires are shorter than oem and barely reached out of the fan guard, pretty noisy, but it does work

very noisy fan and wire is shorter than original. Thinking of changing the motor, luckily I saved the old one.

Support bracket fit fine, but wiring was too short, so I had to cut another notch in the bracket at a different location in order for the plug to reach connection. Fan noise is louder than original. While sitting at a traffic light on a 80 degree day, with A/C on, temp went a little past 210. I'm not sure if fan came on. I didn't get a chance to check, before reaching destination. Temp cooled down once I was able to move, and temp was normal when I stopped. Fan did not run. Not a daily driver, so have not checked since.
