I bought this for my 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 and got the first one that was broken in the package. One of the brass piece's inside the sensor was bent down. I ordered a replacement that looked fine visually but still failed to work. I'm giving up on trying a 3rd and will be going somewhere else for it instead.
The MAP sensor is us to provide the PCM with information about pressure in the intake manifold.
