I would recommend this part to anyone, i bought it and put it on my self.. easy to do.. i just had to take my car to a mechanic so they can calibrate it.. i like the price not to expensive just right on the money!!

Correct part; good quality; excellent shipping. In 07 Jeep changed the Liberty Throttle Body that used a Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) to a "fly-by-wire" electronic style that uses a APS (Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor) style that doesn't have a TPS on the T-body but uses an APS voltage divider (gas pedal) to vary a 5 volt signal back to the ECU which then controls the motor that drives the Throttle body. Shopping for this item was crazy. Prices vary from the hundred dollar range to over three hundred. I couldn't tell any difference in them. I am a satisfied 1AAuto repeat customer and was going to rate them 5 star this time except they don't tell you that you have to have a service technician "scan tool" (expensive code reader) to calibrate the Throttle Body and APS to the ECU. I found a few backdoor ways to calibrate using the car keyswitch procedure on the internet but wasn't able to get it to work. Of course, if you can drive to a dealer repair shop in "limp mode" they can

Yes, is the whole throttle body, is the electronic.. my jeep commander has the 3.7 v6, easy to put on but you have to take it to get it calibrated.

Yes, I believe it does. You will need a diagnostic system tablet, to reset everything once you put it on. Otherwise, it will crank over, hold an idle for less than 30 seconds & then give out. Once you reset the codes for the Throttle Body, it should be back to normal.
