Hi, I'm Tony with 1A Auto, here to talk to you today about your accessory power trim ring in the 2008 Dodge Ram behind me.
Here we have our old part from the vehicle. As you can see, it's all banged up and scratched up. We remove this as a part of the process to remove the accessory power outlet or the cigarette lighter. They're very easy to break and a little tough to come out.
We have our new part from 1A Auto. As you can see, the parts are a little bit different aesthetically. This part's got a nice rigid backing on it. It's going to help hold that in a little bit firmer. A little bit easier to take in and out without worrying about breaking it, snapping it.
If you have a broken or damaged trim ring for your accessory power outlets, this new part from 1A is going to fix you up right.
Mine was worn out in my 2012 Dodge Nitro and was pulling the whole unit out of the dash! After I bought the new one from A1 Auto it was nice and tight and didn't move at all! Very pleased with my purchase from them will do business again if I needed something!
When I searched this part I had the belief this was for a 1999 dodge ram. When it arrived the packaging showed it was for models beginning 2001. Though the part looks just slightly different than my original, it works perfectly fine for the 1999 model.
