This part looks perfectly fine but I ordered it before removing the old one. It said it was guaranteed to work in a 2004 Cadillac Escalade rear AC/heat blend door actuator replacement. This one has 4 pins all the way to the left but when I removed the old one, it has 3 pins left, then a space, then 2 pins right, so its not correct. I should have pulled the part first and looked closely. I didnt return it because it may work on the front unit or my GMC pickup if they ever fail. My fault, but I gave it 4 stars because it said it was guaranteed to fit.
Sometimes these actuators have the same name and are for different things and vice versa so always make sure it's the right one for the right side. Other than that this was exactly what I ordered and fit just fine.

This is the temperature blend door for your 2001 Jimmy. You will need to look for the vent mode door actuator. We currently do not carry one for your vehicle.
I don't think the Blend Door Actuator will help. It just control the temperature of the air either hot ,warm or cold. It shouldn't have anything to do with no air coming out. Hope this helps but I'm a long way from being a mechanic so I could be wrong.
