Hi, I'm Don from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and the next time you need a part for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the blower motor on this 2006 Jeep Liberty. It's the same part and process on these Libertys from 2002 to 2007.The only items you'll need include a new blower motor from 1AAuto.com and a Phillips screwdriver.
Under your glove box, there should be a panel here held in by two Phillips screws. You remove those screws and pull the panel forward out of that hole there. On the blower motor, push the red clip on the harness. Push the tab and pull it free. To release this, there's a tab on the blower motor right here. All you have to do is pull that down and then twist the blower motor counterclockwise and it pulls out.
On the right is the old blower motor; on the left is the new one from 1A Auto. They're identical; they'll mount the same and it'll work good as new. Take your new blower motor, line up that tab with this right here, and you want to slide it into that slot. Just feed it into place, line up the tab, and twist it clockwise to lock it. Reconnect your harness and push in that red clip to lock it. Just replace that panel and you're all set.
