The first look at the caliper was wow! Then after closer inspection I notice that the dust boots and the retaining rings around the caliper pistons were not seated correctly. I sent an email off to express my disappointment and 1A Auto responded asking for pictures. Within minutes I had a notice that they were shipping out replacement calipers and I could take the first ones to a Vo-Tech School or keep them. When second calipers arrived they had the same defect. I did reseat boots and the retaining rings on the first order, the replacements are still in my garage. While the parts were a great match the manufacturers quality control was not! Customer service was amazing. My brakes stop the vehicle well but I feel the need to reinspect the dust boots during the vehicles next oil change.
