When comparing to the old part it looked right until trying to put the gasket in. It didn’t exactly fit and kept not sitting right. After holding it in place and putting the metal cover it seems to stay and has been working since. No oil leaks and time will tell.

It came defective bad for the first time
Garbage! Do NOT buy this. The seal doesnt seal properly causing a leak! They sent me another one and that leaked too. Dont throw your money and time away. Buy OEM
VVT assembly looks great. However shortly after assembly, it started seeping oil from around the electronic sending unit down around the oil presure switch. Now I do repairs on vehicles all the time and this is a first of many, when you get a definitive part . I don't know if the Lifetime Warranty will be honored or not, we shall see.
I tried other vvt valves but they didn't work. This one worked fine very satisfied with the part. Fast shipping would recommend 1aauto parts to everyone!

not recommended. i would use a oem part only. This cause check engine light and cause engine problems for 2010 Honda accord coupe v6.
