The brake clips that came with pads were not exactly the same as original ones, but I installed them anyway. After bedding the pads & a little bit of driving, my wife noticed a metal-on-metal sound. After inspection, I saw about 1/8" scraped ring around the face of my new TRQ rotor. This appeared to be caused by part of the brake clip sticking out. I removed the new clips & replaced with the old, cleaned up ones. That seemed to solve the problem. Now I am left with this scraped ring all around my rotor. Not really happy about that. Any chance of 1A sending me a new rotor?

First off, for half the price of big box stores, I got the brake pads and rotors, so that alone is a great selling point. Second,the performance rotors are fantastic, I had to get used to the now shorter stopping distance and last but not least, when compared to the known name brand performance rotors, these are the same quality and about $100-200, cheaper. Looking forward to purchasing the rear disc set up also. I definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for an upgrade in stopping performance that won't break the bank.
These are awesome looking brake rotors. However, even with the slots and holes, they still get warm and warp. I've have had two pairs of these on my V6 Accord in 18 months, and I am having the same experience with them on my 2006 Pilot. I'm going back to NAPA parts. Rotors warping in less than a year of gentle use doesn't seem quite right, does it? 1A rotors warp. 1A quick struts eat top bearings. 1A lower control arms have shock mount studs snap off. I'm starting to get the idea that these may not be quality products.
