Bought a set for the front end repair. Turns out the DS axle replacement is not exactly the same as PS. I had my PS replaced but am unable to do the DS since the axle I received isn't the correct one..how can I find out what axle I do need? And then return.for replacement??
Hands-down these are the best parts that I've never bought for my car this is been the best investment I've ever made in my entire life
I have a 97 Accord LX 2.2 with manual transmission (260K miles). The passenger side axle was giving me problems so it was time to replace. Decided to go ahead and change the pair while I was at it, though the driver side didn't yet show signs of any problems. These came quick and were the cheapest I could find (warning flag). I figured since they were new and not reman'd, I wouldn't have any issues. Changed both axles, fit was good, and took it for a drive. Noticed vibrations under acceleration. Was pretty bad on the interstate. Swapped the driver side back to the old axle and 75% of the vibration was gone. Had to purchase an axle local to swap the passenger side and the rest of the vibration is gone. 1A Auto worked with me and were nice the entire time I was in contact with them about returning the axles. Customer service gets 5 stars, but these axles were junk. Never had axles vibrate like this.
