Bolt that hold tensioner in place is not the same grade as factory and broke off a few times
Works as it should very well built Very happy with mine no issues to date got it 03/25
It is the same, exact Tensioner Pulley Assembly from the tensioner and belt kit, TRQ BPA05105. The person who installed this tensioner from the kit, in a review, wrote, the tensioner bolts strips easily where it might as well be "made out of paper."
One of the Tensioner bolts broke off the and the other one is worn down that the belt tool slips off. Tried to do a warranty and still haven't heard if it'll get swapped or not.
Great
I took a chance to see if this part will actually work for my pilot. Material is weak so when you have to put tension you will round out the nut. I tried to return the part. They will give you a refund but you will still be paying for the shipping at the end. So I took what I needed from the part hydraulic tensioner and the idler pulley. Installed it on my old one and it worked. I should have stick to the reviews on this part. This does not meet oem standards. At the autoparts store i got to see the part and they got both aftermarket and oem. Big difference. Like they say. You get what you pay for.
I should have listened to other reviewers, but warranty and good price overruled my better judgement . Installation was good until installing the serpentine belt. I have correct tool, and know how to slowly put pressure on it but still stripped the tensioner lug, (See other reviewer pictures, this is what happens). Very cheap aluminum used in this product. As for warranty, I'm not sure I want a replacement of same quality or lack of. buyer beware!!!
Good
Very good durable part by 1A Auto and perfect fit for my Honda Accord V6. Easy to install and running great.
The metal bracket that the pulleys are mount to is made of a low quality aluminum. The 19mm tensioner bolt to loosen the belt stripped off as soon as pressure was applied. I have very good sockets that fit tight. By that bolt stripping the whole unit becomes worthless. I had to put my old tensioner back on to finish the job. You could have bought this same quality on Amazon for less than 1/2 the price of this one.
sorry don't know, we did not use one.
