Well, I bought the right rear bearing thinking I would replace it during a warm Minnesota winter day in my garage. However, I also needed front end suspension work. I took the 2014 Explorer to an alignment shop and they allowed me to buy all the parts from 1A and they would put them in only charging me for labor. So, I asked if they could do the wheel bearing too. Sure! After 4 hours they could not get the steel wheel bearing out of the aluminum dog. First time in 30 years. They then got a good used dog from a high level junk yard that included the wheel bearing. They told me to keep my new wheel bearing because it also fits the other 3 wheels. Consequently, I never used the part but I used several other 1A parts for their work on the front suspension. I'm hanging onto the new wheel bearing from 1A. Perhaps I can write another review in a couple of years when another of my wheel bearings start to fail. Overall it looks like a great part at a very good price.
Part arrived in a timely manner and installed and operated as advertised. Unfortunately the removal of the old/factory failed wheel bearing was quite a bear and utilized 1A Auto's video library for tips on removing the old wheel bearing. Helped me get the job done and the wife's car back on the road.

Great service and fast shipping as always!!!! Very nice quality parts.... But the explorer in the video has clearly never seen SALT, everything was a breeze except getting the old hub assembly to slide out of the knuckle, that fought back harder then a honey badger getting it's nails clipped!!!!!!

The overall experience online was good. The part did come in a timely fashion I believe it was one day later then it said after the purchase. The parts fit nicely on the car. However I needed another one but you immediately raise the price another $10 on this hub assembly part plus the shipping. So I ended up going to someone else which was $15 cheaper.
The video showed me exactly what I needed to do and what to expect for installing the wheel bearing. The part came to me in great time and in perfect condition. Install was exactly as expected and now my Ford Explorer is running smooth again.

I have a 2014 Explorer Limited. My mechanic says it will work on all four wheels. I would suggest looking up the era of Ford Explorers and see if they all have the same basic wheel types. I know there is a difference between the brake shoe sizes but probably not the bearings. Also, make sure you go to O'Riley and buy a new set of bolts for $19.95 to hold on the new wheel bearing. One more thing. My car is from Minnesota. The rear wheel bearing was rusted on making it one piece with the dog. Yeah, the mechanic had to replace the entire dog and wheel bearing from a junkyard. I'm still driving smoothly 18 months later.
