WTA10146
I purchased this for a 2000 Ford Ranger. The tool does not properly fit into place for lowering/raising the spare tire. The end piece just spins inside the truck housing. I've found that using a 3/8 socket extension with a ratchet works. I'll be returning the tool.
I ordered this for a 2000 Ranger I'm getting back into prime condition. This set helped in that I was missing the whole tire replacement kit. I didn't have a spare, but when I did get one I needed this to put it under my truck. I don't have the jack, but I have a hydraulic jack to use.

It does have the tip to lower the spare.
I purchased this part for a 2003 explorer sport trac. 98 explorer would use a much shorter tool.
