2002 Ford E150 Econoline without Security Feature Passenger Side Rear Cargo Door Door Latch Assembly Ford OEM AC2Z-15431A02-A

I had to replace the rear door latch on my 2004 Ford e350 econoline van that was a RV conversion. The original rear door latch included a remote latching piston that attached through a hole in this door latch assembly. Most replacement models do not show the large hole required to attach the remote piston nor do they mention whether they are compatible with the remote piston. I even called the sellers and they couldn't tell me if their item would work. This latch sold by 1A Auto is the exact replacement. It works perfectly.

It's a pain to install. No instructions given. I'm not sure instructions would help. Keep this In Stock. Those rubber ends will fail, break apart. Have Patience and the right tools. It might have helped to have an extra hand to keep the license cover in place when tightening the screws.

the door latch assemble went together with no hassle or need for modification. so far their hasten been any trouble. it will probably last longer than the rest of the van. I have purchased other parts from A1 with the same results. I would recommend them as a excellent parts provider.
