Recently purchased an older Ranger, turned out to have some issues. Stock housing was made from plastic, sensors were stripped out could not believe it wasn't leaking! New part from !A Auto was made from aluminum and fit perfectly, I watched the video from !A Auto which was very helpful and speeded up the install
Temperature higher than half the temperature gauge, normally it was always in half.

It is still much better than the original OEM - plastic enclosure. Thank you for making my project easy. It brings all the necessary parts to make the installation easy, fast and accurate.
Good product
The aluminum housing fit great and appears to be an obvious upgrade from the plastic housing which I have replaced twice previously. My only concern is that even after purging the system my ranger runs warmer with this unit. The needle used to stay right in the middle where now it stays 2/3 - 3/4 over to the H on the operating range. If it doesnt compromise the seal\gasket on the upper housing I would like to swap the thermostat from the plastic this is replacing. Also, I would HIGHLY recommend replacing the three mounting bolts anytime the thermostat housing is replaced, and plan on removing the intake plenum - it is what it is, so much easier and in my experience adds about an hour to the job.
