Leaf spring shackle repair kit

Quality of the product is excellent and I would recommend it to anyone. It was also helpful to have the fix-it video. Unfortunately, the video takes the short-cut by only removing the shackle bolts and leaving the original bushings in place. Nice easy repair. However, in my case the shackle bracket was completely rotted away and the nuts were heavily rusted making it impossible to unscrew the nuts and bolts. I had to burn the nuts off with an oxy-acetylene torch. No problem punching out the upper bolt leaving the sleeve in place in the frame. The problem occurred with the bushing in the leaf spring. When I punched out the bolt, the inner sleeve was rusted to it and the bolt, inner sleeve and rubber came out but the outer sleeve remained in the leaf spring. Efforts to knock the sleeve out of the eye of the leaf spring have been unsuccessful (rusted in place?). I am loath to heat the eye of the spring to expand it to permit pounding the sleeve out for fear of screwing up the temper in t
