In this video we're going to show you how to replace the power window switch pack on this 2005 Ford Excursion. It's the same part and similar process on these Excursions from 2002 to 2005.The items you'll need are a new power window switch pack from 1AAuto.com and a flat blade screwdriver.
Start off by prying up your switch panel and then sliding it forward. Now push the tab on each of these harnesses and pull them free. Pry up the tabs around the switch pack while applying pressure from the other side. It'll pull out.
On the left is your old driver's side switch pack. On the right is the new one from 1A Auto. You can see they're identical and they're going to fit exactly the same. Push your new switch pack into the switch panel, and reconnect your harnesses. Push this back end tab in first, and then push down the front.

Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the power window switch on this 2003 Mercury Mountaineer. We show you on the master power window switch on the driver side, but the individual switch on the passenger side is a similar procedure. The only items you'll need for this is a new power window switch from 1AAuto.com and a flat blade screwdriver.
Pry out on this panel behind the door handle, and just slide it forward and off the door handle. Then lift up on the front of your switch panel and slide it back. Then just push the tabs on these harnesses to disconnect them, and for this last one you're going to need a flat blade screwdriver to just push in the tab. Now you pull it free.
Pry out on these tabs while pushing on the side of the switch. Then repeat the process on this side. When you're doing the last tab just lightly pull up on the switch and it will pull free.
On the bottom is the old switch; above it is the new one from 1A Auto. You can see they're identical and they fit exactly the same. Push your new one into place and reconnect those three harnesses.
Slide the back in first and push the front of the switch panel down into place. Then take this lower panel and slide it back over the door handle and slide those tabs back into place, and then push in the front. You're all set.
