TRQ recommends replacing your shocks or struts in pairs to ensure even wear of components and improved ride comfort. Replacing struts used to require specialized tools to compress, remove, and transfer the old spring and mount. Our Pre-assembled, complete strut & spring assemblies come with all new parts and make the job much quicker and easier for the do-it-yourself mechanic.

Ordered shocks, showed up earlier than promised. Order, checkout etc was easy. These shocks ere just as described on the site. O issues.

They seem to be good quality but they are a bit bouncy. Going over bumps the front end seems to bounce a bit before settling. This did not happen with the original struts. Smooth ride though. As one other reviewer stated too, my mechanic had a hard time getting the old ones off due to corrosion.

The shocks was easy to install and came as a pair which was awesome. Definitely worth replacing old shocks if necessary. I put these on my 2004 Ford crown Victoria police interceptor and the shocks raised my front by at least a few inches. The only small problem I had was the new bolts for the top of the shocks did fit but was slightly smaller than the original so had to use the original bolts to cover more space. Other than that the shocks are awesome!!!

No, these parts will not fit a 1998. What is the year, make and model of your vehicle? We can then check to see if we carry the part you need.
They will actually work on a standard Crown Vic, Grand marquis or Town Car. Though since these are for the interceptors, the ride will be much stiffer. If you want a softer ride, do not use these Otherwise, as far as fitment goes they will work on a non-police model as they all have the same mounting. Again, just a much stiffer ride.
