It resolved under temp issue on my 2006 Mazda 6 and the service engine light hasnt come on since. Its been two months since it was replaced.
Purchased this thermostat with housing because my car would not come to temperature no matter how long I drove it. Horrible gas mileage too! This complete unit fit perfectly and resolved all my fuel economy issues. Interesting to note that the original thermostat is not removable from the housing. So please buy this unit if you are replacing original.
